Metropolitan Mark led the liturgy for the Feast of the Three Hierarchs and the 95th anniversary of the historic cathedral of the Western European Exarchate.
On February 12, 2026, the patronal feast and the 95th anniversary of the Three Hierarchs Podvorye, the historic cathedral of the Western European Exarchate on Rue Pétel, were celebrated in Paris. The celebration took place on the commemoration day of the holy hierarchs Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian, and John Chrysostom, who are venerated as the heavenly patrons of the church. This was reported by the Moscow Patriarchate in Italy on Telegram.
The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Metropolitan Mark of Ryazan and Mikhailov, head of the Western European Exarchate and the Diocese of Korsun. Several hierarchs of the Exarchate, who had gathered in Paris for a synodal meeting, concelebrated with him. After the prayer behind the ambo, a solemn praise service was performed in honor of the three Church Teachers.
In his pastoral address, Metropolitan Mark congratulated the rector, clergy, and faithful on the patronal feast and anniversary. At the same time, he recalled the spiritual heritage of the Three Hierarchs and emphasized their enduring significance for church life, theological tradition, and the spiritual guidance of the faithful.
