In Trieste, a panichida was celebrated for the recently departed Patriarch of Georgia, Ilia II. The service was attended by Priest Ioan Brașoveanu, head of the local community. The celebration took place in the Cathedral of Saint Spyridon. This was reported by the community on Telegram. Under the vaults of the cathedral, clergy and faithful from various Orthodox communities gathered, including Georgian, Serbian, Moldovan, and Romanian parishes.
