In Dortmund, the commemoration of Christ's burial took place

In the Serbian Orthodox community in Dortmund, Good Friday was observed with a service that focused on the suffering and burial of Jesus Christ. A central part of the celebration was the bringing out of the burial shroud. The community reported this on Instagram. During the service, the burial shroud was solemnly placed in the center of the church, where it served for the veneration of the faithful. In quiet devotion and prayer, those present commemorated the events of Golgotha and participated in the liturgical representation of the burial.

The celebration was characterized by a quiet and solemn atmosphere that invited reflection. Good Friday is considered in the Orthodox church year as a day of deepest mourning and at the same time as preparation for the coming joy of the Resurrection.

Previously, UOJ reported that ROJ Cologne published a video about the suffering of Christ.
