Believers protected churches during Women's Day demonstrations in Mexico

During demonstrations for International Women's Day on March 8, Catholic believers in several Mexican cities protected churches. In Guadalajara, Christians positioned themselves in front of a church building and formed a human chain to prevent possible damage during a feminist protest march. Similar scenes occurred in other cities as well. In front of the Cathedral of Puebla, believers gathered before the main entrance of the historic house of worship. According to reports, paint was also thrown at people who positioned themselves in front of churches to protect them during the protests.
