In Augsburg, a break-in occurred at the Serbian Orthodox community

The Serbian Orthodox parish in Augsburg has informed its faithful about a break-in at the church building. Unknown perpetrators gained access to the building by breaking a ground floor window and thus entering the premises. The parish reported this on Instagram. The criminal police conducted an investigation at the crime scene on March 3, 2026, and secured possible evidence. In addition to the property damage incurred, the parish is particularly affected by this act of violence against the house of God and its adjoining rooms.

The parish simultaneously called for prayer and prudence. In their statement, those responsible emphasized that they pray for the unknown perpetrators and ask God for mercy and repentance for those responsible.

Previously, UOJ reported that Orthodox youth in Munich planned new activities for 2026.
