Archbishop Ioannis and Education Minister honored the role of church schools

At a meeting between Education Minister Mirela Kumbaro and Archbishop Ioannis, the social relevance of the educational institutions of the Orthodox Church of Albania was acknowledged. The focus was on the value of church schools for promoting youth and expanding their professional future opportunities. This was reported by Orthodox Times.

Both discussion partners particularly emphasized the importance of the educational institutions that were established under the late Archbishop Anastasios. They stressed that these schools make a crucial contribution to the quality of education and support young people on their educational path.

According to the minister, the conversation was constructive and results-oriented. Topics discussed included questions of school education, knowledge transfer, professional qualification, as well as the promotion and support of children and youth in Albania.
