Lecture on Prayer During Lent Announced in Frankfurt
The Serbian Orthodox community in Frankfurt invites to a spiritual lecture on prayer during the fasting period. The event is themed "On Prayer in the Time of Fasting" and is addressed to all believers who wish to engage more intensively with spiritual life during Great Lent. The invitation was published on Instagram. The speaker of the lecture is Priest Slobodan Tijanić. In his presentation, he will speak about the significance of prayer, spiritual struggle during the fasting period, as well as the deeper meaning of Christian fasting.
The lecture will take place on Sunday, March 8, in the Svetosava Hall of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Frankfurt's Gallus district. It begins following the Divine Liturgy and offers believers an opportunity for shared spiritual reflection and strengthening in faith.
