Easter Egg Tapping Tournament Announced in Munich

The Serbian Orthodox community in Munich (Perlach) is organizing a traditional egg-tapping tournament on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2026. The event will take place following the Divine Liturgy, which begins at 09:00. The tournament is scheduled to start around 12:00. The community reported this on Instagram. Several rules apply to the competition: participants use exclusively colored chicken eggs, with each person bringing five eggs. After the preliminary round, four participants qualify for the semifinal. An egg is considered lost if it is damaged at both ends.

Further organizational details will be announced on-site. A special award is planned for the tournament winner.

Previously, UOJ reported that shots were heard near the Israeli consulate in Istanbul.
