In Munich, a Spiritual-Cultural Evening Took Place

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the repose of Saint Bishop Nikolaj Velimirović, the Serbian Orthodox community in Munich held a spiritual-cultural evening on Saturday, March 14. The event was dedicated to commemorating one of the most significant Serbian theologians and spiritual teachers of the 20th century and brought together believers as well as those interested. This was reported by the Serbian Orthodox Church in Munich. The centerpiece of the evening was the performance of the monodrama "Reči o Svečoveku" by the renowned Serbian actor Nebojša Dugalić. The piece is based on motifs from the Saint's work of the same name and conveys central thoughts of his theological and spiritual work. Through the artistic presentation, the content was made accessible to a broader audience and presented in a vivid form.

The event uniquely combined artistic expression with spiritual remembrance. It offered participants not only a cultural experience, but also the opportunity to engage more intensively with the life, teaching and spiritual heritage of Saint Nikolaj Velimirović and to reflect on his significance for the present.

Previously, UOJ reported that an Easter workshop on traditional egg painting was announced in Hamburg.
