Serbian Orthodox Community Rosenheim Celebrates Patronal Feast of Sretenje
The Serbian Orthodox community in Rosenheim invites everyone on Sunday, February 15, to the solemn celebration of their church consecration. The occasion is the Feast of Sretenje of the Lord, which simultaneously represents the patronal feast of the community and occupies a central place in church life. The community in Rosenheim reported this on Instagram. The celebrations begin with a solemn Divine Liturgy, which will be celebrated jointly by several priests and deacons. Following this, a festive lunch is planned, accompanied by a cultural program. This is intended to emphasize not only the religious character of the day, but also the communal togetherness of the community.
The organizers extend a cordial invitation to all community members and guests. The feast is understood as a joint celebration where everyone comes together as hosts. Those who have the opportunity are asked to participate in the preparation or contribute with food to the success of the day. The community looks forward to numerous participation and a communal gathering.
Previously, UOJ reported that International guests explored Hamburg during an Orthodox city tour.
